HARTFORD, Conn. -- Star-seekers and sports fans should save the date for the Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am when Hollywood celebrities and sports legends will tee it up alongside PGA TOUR professionals as part of the Travelers Championship. Hollywood stars Luke Wilson, Joe Pesci, Aidan Quinn and Rob Morrow will compete, as will Tony Award-winning actor James Naughton.

Baseball Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax and Pro Football Hall of Famer Roger Staubach have also committed to playing. The Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am will be played on Wednesday, June 24, at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn. Tee times for the Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am will be between 6:50 a.m. -- 8:50 a.m. and 11:50 a.m. -- 1:50 p.m. The majority of celebrity guests will tee off mid-day, and exact tee times for each player will be announced closer to the event.

"The Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am is a unique aspect of our tournament that we are proud to deliver to fans. When you bring entertaining Hollywood stars and elite athletes like Staubach and Koufax to compete alongside PGA TOUR professionals, the result is a must-see event for fans, whether you're a golfer or not," said Tournament Director Nathan Grube. "A primary goal of the Travelers Championship is to raise funds and awareness for our designated charities, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and the Greater Hartford Jaycees. We look forward to welcoming these celebrities to Connecticut and we appreciate their time and enthusiasm to draw attention to our event and therefore support the tournament's charitable efforts."

The Travelers Championship has contributed more than $26 million to Connecticut charities since its inception. The tournament is proud to support the PGA TOUR's Tradition of Giving Back, by donating 100% of net proceeds to charity, as well as generating funds for local charities through special programs. Primary beneficiaries of the tournament are The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, which provides spirit-strengthening programs for seriously ill children year-round at both the Camp and in hospitals, and the Greater Hartford Jaycees, a leadership development and community service organization.

Wilson, Pesci, Quinn, Naughton and Koufax are all avid golfers who have a shared interest in supporting The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.

Actor Luke Wilson is best known for his comedic roles in box office hits such as Old School, The Royal Tenenbaums and Legally Blonde. Most recently, Wilson filmed a comedy called Tenure which is slated for release later this year.

Screen legend Joe Pesci has been nominated for dozens of film awards including two Academy Awards and two Golden Globes. He is known for various diverse roles ranging from the entertaining thief in Home Alone to his iconic performance as Tommy DeVito in Goodfellas, for which he earned the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Pesci will be seen next in Love Ranch, a drama co-starring Helen Mirren, which is currently in production.

Two-time Emmy-nominated actor Aidan Quinn is known for an expansive career in both television and film. Quinn's notable films include Legends of the Fall, Avalon, Benny & Joon and Michael Collins. He will star in the upcoming A Shine of Rainbows.

Rob Morrow is perhaps best known for his critically acclaimed portrayal of Joel Fleischman, a New York doctor transplanted to Alaska on the hit television series Northern Exposure, which garnered him three Golden Globe and two Emmy Award nominations for "Best Actor in a Dramatic Series." Morrow currently stars in the popular CBS drama Numb3rs, which will begin its sixth season this fall.

Connecticut native James Naughton is a Tony Award-winning star, having earned the honor twice for roles in Chicago and City of Angels. Naughton is an avid supporter of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and currently serves on the Camp's Board of Directors.

Baseball legend Sandy Koufax is a left-handed pitcher who played his entire career with the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers (1955-66), earning numerous accolades despite his relatively short career. Koufax is a three-time winner of the Cy Young Award and is the youngest player in history to be inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame, at age 36.

Pro Football Hall of Famer Roger Staubach played an instrumental role in developing the nationwide popularity of the Dallas Cowboys during his career as quarterback for the team from 1969-79. During his time leading the team, the Cowboys played in six NFC Championship games, winning four of them. He led the team to two Super Bowl victories, including their first ever at Super Bowl VI, during which he was named game MVP.

The Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am is one featured event of a dynamic tournament week at the Travelers Championship which will also feature a women's day, activities for kids, an evening concert series and a new on-site Fan Zone. Tickets are available now on TravelersChampionship.com.
